B.A.S.E. Sports Conditioning – ACL Injury Prevention Workshop
On Monday, May 4th from 7:00 to 8:00 P.M. The Long Island Roughriders will be hosting an ACL injury prevention workshop at their Mitchell Field athletic facility in Uniondale.
All athletes in attendance will receive free musculoskeletal screenings to assess ACL injury risk and be provided with their own corrective exercise prescription based on the results of the testing.
Athletes and coaches alike will also be put through a full dynamic warm-up protocol and learn an array of effective on-field stretching and strengthening exercises requiring little to no equipment. Coach Mike will also be sharing lots of interesting information and eye-opening statistics on just how pervasive a problem ACL injuries have become in youth sports.
